🎉 A Fan with History, Passion and a Lot of Heart
Alicia is 63 years old and was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina. She has lived in Spain since 2000, but her love for motorsport has been with her since childhood:
“My father used to take me to see Turismo Carretera, and we never missed F1 on Sundays. We followed Lole Reutemann.”
Once settled in Spain, she started following Fernando Alonso, and told us she even attended the 2012 Valencia Street Grand Prix, where Alonso qualified 11th and went on to win the race.
🚗 From Reutemann to Colapinto: A Passion that Crosses Borders
Alicia discovered Franco almost by chance while searching for news about Argentine drivers:
“I saw the Sportmaniaticos channel, which started following and supporting him since F3. From that moment, I became a loyal fan of number 43.”
Her favourite memories of Franco speak for themselves:
- “When they announced he would drive for Williams in Monza, I cried with excitement.”
- “When he finished 8th in Baku, I shouted so much the neighbours almost called the police! Haha, that’s Argentine passion for you…”
- “And I always enjoy his interviews: he’s spontaneous and refreshingly genuine. As I once read: ‘F1 needs Franco more than Franco needs F1’. He’s so good for the sport in every sense.”
📱 A Very Active “Auntie of Franco” in the App
Alicia has followed Franco since the very first days of the FC43 app:
“I discovered it when it was first announced, and as soon as it went live, I subscribed. I really enjoy the fan section, the videos, and the live race broadcasts.”
