๐Ÿ‡ช๐Ÿ‡ธ Before Formula 1, this circuit was already the stage for some of his finest moments
The Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya is no unfamiliar territory for Franco Colapinto. Long before reaching F1, this Catalan track had already seen up close what he is made of.
And before we forget, last few hours to vote for the sticker you want Franco to wear on his thermos all season:

2025 โ€“ Formula 1, a difficult weekend and a comeback
His first Spanish GP in Formula 1 arrived with a technical issue in qualifying that left him P18 on the grid. But Franco did not give up: 66 laps of tyre management, patience and a crucial overtake on OCO in the closing stages of the race. Final result: P15.

2024 โ€“ History repeats itself
Already in Formula 2, Franco returned to the same circuit and the same result. Qualifying in P3 just 0.006 seconds off pole, and another P2 in the feature race. Barcelona and Franco, on the podium together once more.
2023 โ€“ The circuit gives back
Back in Barcelona, now with MP Motorsport, Franco delivered one of his best weekends of the season. P6 in the sprint and P2 in the feature race: his first podium at this circuit, in front of his own Spanish-speaking community.
2022 โ€“ His first contact with Barcelona in F3
With Van Amersfoort Racing, Franco took to the Circuit de Catalunya asphalt for the very first time in the FIA Formula 3 category. A tricky weekend that ended with a retirement in the sprint and P8 in the main race. Pure learning.
A coincidence only history could write
The only three Argentine drivers to have raced at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya โ€” Esteban Tuero in 1998, Gastรณn Mazzacane in 2000 and Franco Colapinto in 2025 โ€” all finished in exactly the same position: P15.
Argentine motorsport history has a way of writing its own stories.
๐Ÿ Now comes the 2026 Spanish GP
Franco returns to Barcelona with more experience, a different car and the memory of what this circuit has given him.
