🇸🇬 Grand Prix Summary at Marina Bay
The 2025 Singapore Grand Prix was an intense and strategic race under the Marina Bay lights. RUS dominated from start to finish, claiming his second victory of the year, followed by VER and NOR.
McLaren secured the Constructors’ Championship for the second consecutive year in a night with no retirements and mixed track conditions following pre-race rainfall. All 20 cars finished the race, a remarkable outcome considering several incidents during practice sessions.
Franco Colapinto finished P16 in a consistent, error-free race, managing the soft tyres well in the first stint and completing a single pit stop on lap 14.

The Argentine driver showed steady progression throughout the weekend, especially in FP3 where he was less than a second off the fastest time. In the race, he executed a conservative strategy that allowed him to maintain a stable pace and finish the Grand Prix without incidents.

“It was a long, very hot and demanding race. Tyre management was key, especially at the start on the softs,” Colapinto said after the GP. “The team did a great job all weekend, and we continue to learn in every session. I’m satisfied with how we managed the pace and with completing another clean race.”

During the race, Franco received key instructions on handling and strategy: “We could use a bit more front-left in Turn 14 to help you there” – reflecting the fine adjustments that defined the weekend. “We’re still fighting” – with 35 laps remaining and 5 drivers ahead yet to change tyres. “We’re happy with how you’re managing the tyres” – confirming no further stops were planned. Franco also received guidance to get closer to DRS zones and manage the distance to rivals, enabling him to safely gain positions throughout the race.
