🤩 A trend that says much more than a photo
Over the past weeks, the trend has been looking back at what we were doing 10 years ago, in 2016. And Franco was no exception. A post that didn’t just look to the past, but connected stories, people and emotions.
The post sparked something special
There were messages from fans in Argentina, Mexico, Colombia, Brazil, Chile, Europe and many other places. When Latin Americans meet in F1, the passion multiplies.
There were also voices especially meaningful to Franco: - Bizarrap “for everything you imagined as a kid… it’s now 💪🏻 let’s go, let’s go” - Anibal, his father: “So much time, so many joys and some sadness. You reached the place you always aimed for and you achieved it through effort, sacrifice, consistency, talent and so much more. So many good people in these photos. Photo 17 explains everything and number 20, Martu, is beautiful ❤️” - And from Checo Perez “Great photo! You made me feel old 😂”
The interaction didn’t go unnoticed
The official Formula 1 account picked up on the exchange to highlight something exciting looking ahead to 2026: there will be more Spanish-speaking drivers on the grid.
They summed it up with a clear line: “That pairing is Latin fire.” And the fans’ reactions in this post confirmed it:
🤝 More than drivers, a shared connection
Franco and Checo represent different generations and different paths, but they share something fundamental: what it means to arrive, stay and grow coming from Latin America.
It’s not competition. It’s mutual support.
The fans said it all: Latinos united, Argentina and Mexico, one heart, Let’s go Franco and Checo, LATAM present. F1 feels different when there is history, emotion and community behind it.
2026: a season to support with even more force
This year, Latin America is once again strongly represented on the grid. Wherever you are, following Franco Colapinto, Checo Pérez and Gabriel Bortoleto is also a way of carrying that energy into every race weekend.
🏁 A question for the Fran Club
We want to know how you’ll live this season and who you’ll be supporting in this very special 2026. Not as a rivalry, but as a celebration of Latin power in Formula 1.
