✨ The return of Marina Bay’s lights
The Singapore GP is much more than a race: it is a night-time spectacle in the heart of the city
Since 2008, the Marina Bay Street Circuit has offered one of the most demanding challenges for drivers and teams. With high temperatures, extreme humidity and a highly technical layout with 19 corners, the night race has become one of the most iconic events on the calendar.
📊 Key facts about the Marina Bay Street Circuit
Laps: 62 Length: 4.940 km Corners: 19 DRS Zones: 4
🇸🇬 History and tradition of the GP
The first Formula 1 race in Singapore took place in 2008 and is remembered for its innovative character, the first night race in history. Since then, Marina Bay has maintained its reputation as an unpredictable circuit: in all editions, except in 2024, there has been at least one safety car. As a result, strategy is always a decisive factor.
The renewal of the contract guarantees that Marina Bay will continue to light up Formula 1 until at least 2028.
Beyond the track, the Singapore Grand Prix is a true festival for fans:
International concerts after the race, the traditional grid walk that allows fans to get close to the cars and drivers, fan zones with simulators and activities, and a city that comes alive with parties and activations across every corner of the urban circuit.
👉 A special place for Franco Colapinto
In 2024 he raced here with Williams, finishing in P11 after a demanding night on his Marina Bay debut. That weekend he proved his ability to adapt quickly to one of the toughest circuits, completing another Grand Prix and showing all his grit.
In the coming days we will bring you a full recap of that race, so don’t forget to turn on notifications in the app!

🏁 What to expect this year
This year, the Grand Prix arrives with one of the tightest grids yet. Tyre management under extreme heat and the drivers’ physical endurance will be key. The race also promises to be a test for strategies: a safety car at the right moment can completely change the outcome. And under Singapore’s bright lights, fans will also keep their eyes on Alpine and Franco Colapinto, who will be aiming to shine in his first Marina Bay appearance with this team.
