A Grand Prix Full of Latin Energy
The Mexican Grand Prix is one of the most anticipated events of the year.
👏 The atmosphere, the music, the colour, and the passion of the fans make every lap feel like a celebration.
And in 2025, Franco Colapinto returns to a circuit he already knows well, one where he left an excellent impression last season.
How Franco Did Last Year
In his first experience at the Mexican GP with Williams, Franco showed consistency and pace on a track that demands absolute precision. He finished in P12, with a best lap time of 1:20.090. It was a result that reflected his steady progress and sharp understanding of the circuit, especially through the Foro Sol section, where the crowd cheered him on lap after lap.

This year he’s back with even more determination, and here’s a race preview he did with Alpine:
🏎️ If you’re heading to the circuit, there are several ways to catch Franco throughout the weekend:
- Arrive early: Drivers usually enter through the main gates two to three hours before sessions start. - Check the Fan Zone: Teams and drivers sometimes take part in fan activities. Follow the official Alpine, F1 and Franco channels for schedules and possible appearances. - Be respectful: Race weekends are intense. If you manage to meet Franco, be quick, polite, and avoid interrupting his preparation. - Join the Track Invasion.
Experience the Track Invasion Like a True Fan
One of the most iconic moments at the Mexican GP is the Track Invasion, when thousands of fans enter the circuit after the race to witness the podium ceremony up close.
👉 Key tips to make the most of it:
- Only the Green Zone and Foro Sol have authorised access. - Entry is permitted only once the FIA and organisers declare the track safe. - To reach the podium area, start moving about 15 laps before the end towards the designated exits. - Bring water and comfortable shoes, the walk can be long and crowded.
The experience includes music, confetti, the national anthem and the podium ceremony, all surrounded by the vibrant passion of Mexican Formula 1 fans.
