🏎️ Today, 24th June, marks 115 years since the birth of Juan Manuel Fangio in Balcarce, Argentina
Every year, in his honour, Argentina celebrates National Drivers' Day.
A date that not only remembers the man who won five Formula 1 World Championships with four different teams, but also celebrates every driver, in every category, who carries the Argentine flag around the world.
And this year, the FranClub43 celebrates it with Franco on the grid.
🐐 El Chueco's legacy
Fangio wasn't just the best driver of his era. For decades he was the best driver in history, with a record that stood for more than 50 years until Michael Schumacher surpassed it in 2003.
Five world titles. Four different teams. A win percentage that remains one of the highest in Formula 1 history. And all of that in an era when cars had none of the safety measures that exist today.
As Schumacher himself said: "Fangio is at a higher level than I see myself. His achievements are very important and I respect them enormously."
And Ayrton Senna: "Racing is not just about driving a car. It's also about integrity, living a passion, making history. That's why no one will ever equal Fangio."

🩵 From El Chueco to Franco
Fangio opened the door. He proved that an Argentine could reach the very top of world motorsport and compete on equal terms with the best in the world. That legacy lives on in every lap Franco completes on the Formula 1 grid.
Today we say happy birthday to El Chueco and happy Drivers' Day to everyone, especially Franco.
