👏 A year of learning and memorable moments
In his first experience at Interlagos with Williams, Franco had a challenging but hugely educational weekend. We’re all super excited to be back, and even F1 highlighted him in their official post:
How did it go last year?
It was an intense and educational weekend for Franco, not only due to the tricky weather conditions but also because of a personal loss. We won’t go into detail, but we do want to remind everyone how much Franco appreciated the support from Fran Club 43 in Brazil.
In Sprint Qualifying, he secured a solid P14, and in the Sprint Race, he gained positions to finish P12, demonstrating his talent in clean overtakes and tyre strategy.
The weekend as a whole was challenging: Qualifying had to be postponed to Sunday morning because of rain, something that rarely happens. During that session, Franco had a crash that temporarily put him out, fortunately without serious consequences, finishing P18. Later, in his first ever Formula 1 race in wet conditions, he also had an incident with the barrier on lap 30 of 71, but it gave him invaluable experience that he now carries into his return with Alpine this year.
🏎️ Ready to shine in 2025
Franco showed his adaptability in 2024, standing out particularly with spectacular moves against much more experienced rivals. This year, the goal is clear: make the most of every Interlagos corner and fight to move up from the very first lap. After what happened last year, this year can only be better for him!
