Last year, on his F1 debut at Spa, he started from P15 in extreme wet conditions that delayed the race by more than 80 minutes. He started behind the Safety Car and completed all 44 laps showing strong pace in key sectors: he was third in the speed trap at 321 km/h and posted strong times in sectors 1 and 3. The tyre strategy didn't quite work out, but Franco completed a very demanding race at one of the most challenging circuits on the calendar.
