Who is Franco, and why do we follow him so closely?
Franco Colapinto is one of Argentina’s top racing talents. He currently races for the Alpine F1 Team, having already competed in two Formula 1 Grands Prix this year.
This past year has marked a major turning point in his career: after scoring podiums in F2, racing for a big part of the 2024 F1 season with Williams, serving as Alpine’s reserve driver until recently, Franco was recently confirmed as a full Alpine F1 driver and raced in Imola and Monaco.
Next weekend, he completes his first Triple Header of the season in Barcelona — and what better timing than the week of his birthday?
