New weekend, new race! 👏
This time we head to Hungary, just a few kilometres from the iconic city of Budapest 🇭🇺
The Hungaroring will host the 40th Hungarian Grand Prix — one of the most technical and demanding circuits on the F1 calendar. The race will run for 70 laps on a track just 4.381 km long. It’s a narrow circuit full of corners, often referred to as “Monaco without the walls”. Overtaking is rare, and consistent pace will be key.
🇭🇺 Living History
This was the first F1 Grand Prix to take place behind the Iron Curtain, back in 1986 — a symbolic moment as Hungary used Formula 1 to present itself as a modern, open nation. Construction of the Hungaroring began on 1 October 1985 and was completed in a record-breaking eight months, making it the fastest-built F1 circuit in history. It has remained on the calendar ever since, without missing a single season.
This is the place where many drivers claimed their first F1 wins: Alonso, Button, Kovalainen, Ocon and, more recently, Oscar Piastri (2024). Schumacher and Hamilton both made history here with multiple victories. Could this be Franco’s turn? Let’s dream big!
