Spa-Francorchamps isn’t just another track for Franco — it’s one of his favourites, and a place where he’s already made his mark

This weekend will be even more special, as he takes on his first-ever Sprint with Alpine, right here at Spa.

In 2024, during his F2 campaign, he qualified 4th and secured a solid P5 in the Sprint. In the Feature Race, a tyre strategy that didn’t quite work out kept him from fighting further up, but it was a weekend full of valuable learning. He also raced here in F3 (P5 in 2023, P9 in 2022) and won in the Formula Renault Eurocup — in the rain, no less!

With that background, Franco heads to Spa full of confidence, preparation and a special connection to this iconic circuit — the perfect mindset for one of the most technically demanding challenges of the year.

🇦🇷 A track with Argentine heritage

Spa-Francorchamps also holds a special place in Argentina’s motorsport history. Fangio won here in 1950, 1954 and 1955. Carlos Reutemann claimed victory in 1981, and Froilán González and Roberto Mieres also competed at this legendary venue. Now it’s Franco’s turn — ready to carry the light blue and white flag with pride.
