👏 This weekend we're back in Monaco
A track like no other, where mistakes are costly and simply finishing the race is an achievement in itself. Franco raced it for the first time in 2025 and he did it his way.
🏟️ The circuit
Monte Carlo is a semi-street circuit in the streets of the Principality, with some truly unique characteristics: - Walls just centimetres from the car at every corner - Zero margin for error - One of the slowest circuits on the calendar but one of the most demanding mentally - The Safety Car almost always makes an appearance

And last year?
It was his second race as an Alpine race driver and one of the most demanding on the calendar. Franco started from P18 after a difficult qualifying session where traffic prevented him from completing a clean lap. At Monaco, that normally means the race is over before it begins.
💪 But Franco didn't see it that way
With a smart strategy, patience and consistent pace, he worked his way through the field lap by lap. He started on soft tyres before switching to mediums after his first stop, completed both mandatory pit stops with perfect team execution (2.5s and 2.7s) and finished P13, gaining five positions on a track where overtaking is nearly impossible. He was one of the very few drivers of the weekend to finish without any warnings or contact. His fastest lap came on lap 30, a 1:15.298 on medium tyres, with his best sector being sector 2 at 194 km/h.
"Starting from eighteenth place today, it was difficult to get into the points, especially in a race with so little action. I would say that finishing thirteenth was the maximum we could really achieve given all the traffic and the different tactics from the other teams on track."
