🚦 Franco’s start in Melbourne that set social media on fire
The first race of the season always brings nerves, excitement and huge anticipation. But when the lights went out in Melbourne there was one moment that made thousands of fans react at the same time: Franco’s incredible save at the start.
Since last Sunday, Franco has been everywhere thanks to this move:
The most incredible part is that it wasn’t shown during the live broadcast
The replay only appeared later, when it was shown to the drivers themselves. As soon as the race finished, in the Cool Room, George Russell (P1), Charles Leclerc (P2) and Kimi Antonelli (P3) watched it… and couldn’t believe it.
Even George congratulated Franco afterwards in his Instagram stories.
What happened in those seconds
It all happened just two seconds after the start: - Lawson’s car loses power - Bearman suddenly appears right in front of Franco - Franco turns right to avoid him - He runs close to the wall - Instantly corrects left And squeezes through the only space available, avoiding Lawson without contact or mistakes.
An incredible move made possible by his lightning-fast reflexes.
🩵 The FranClub and the whole world reacted
The moment didn’t go unnoticed. Between clips and comments, the FranClub once again showed that the support comes from everywhere. Fans reacted instantly online: “Cat-like reflexes 🙀”, “Save of the year!”, “World-class move 🇦🇷”, “Pure car control”, “Impeccable, Franco”.
