🤩 The pictures of the 2026 car are here
This Throwback Thursday, we revisit the official presentation of the Alpine A526, the single-seater Franco Colapinto will drive in the 2026 season. The launch took place in Barcelona on the 23rd of January and, just days later, the car completed its first kilometres on track, marking the visible start of a new chapter for the team under the 2026 regulations.
A familiar livery for a completely new era
The A526 retains Alpine’s visual identity, with its now signature blue and pink colour scheme. That continuity in design contrasts with the deep technical changes arriving this season. It is not a radical visual break, but a clear evolution: the same identity, a new starting point.
Behind the livery, a full reset of the project
A new regulatory framework, the return of active aero, more compact cars and the beginning of the partnership with Mercedes-AMG as power unit supplier. But what fans first saw was how the car looks.
🇦🇷 Franco’s first car from day one
For us, this launch carried special meaning. It is the first car Franco will work with from the very start as a full-time driver, with a complete pre-season and an active role in development from the beginning. The A526 is not just a new Alpine: it is the starting point of Franco’s 2026.
