The streets of Marina Bay light up under the floodlights as the cars roar between skyscrapers, luxury hotels and one of the most impressive skylines in the world. It's one of the most special weekends of the year and Franco arrives here determined to close out the triple header in the best way possible.
Marina Bay Street Circuit
5.063 km of urban streets, 19 corners and one unique characteristic: the race is held at night, which completely changes the drivers' perception and adds an extra physical challenge in conditions of heat and tropical humidity.
Its main characteristics:
Extreme heat and humidity: even at night, the temperatures and humidity make Singapore one of the most gruelling weekends of the year
Safety Car almost guaranteed: the history of the Singapore GP is full of Safety Car interventions that completely change the strategy
Walls close throughout the circuit: like Monaco, the margin for error is minimal
Qualifying is decisive: on a circuit where overtaking is very difficult, starting further up the grid changes everything
