✨ A new circuit with Alpine
Franco Colapinto faces the Singapore Grand Prix challenge for the first time with his current team
The Marina Bay street circuit does not forgive mistakes and demands maximum concentration over more than two hours of racing. For the Argentine driver, this is a historic event that we all expect to be unforgettable.
The funny thing is that this will not actually be his first time in the Alpine pit at the Singapore GP…
Last year, as shared on Alpine’s official Instagram account, Franco got confused by the team colours and accidentally walked into the Alpine garage. Watch it here:
Was it a premonition? Or as many commented on that post: “Franco was already manifesting it.”
💪 The physical and mental challenge
The humidity, the heat, and the endless corners make Singapore one of the toughest tests on the calendar. Drivers can lose several kilos in just one night of racing. For Franco, it will be the perfect opportunity to prove his physical and mental strength on one of the most demanding stages of the season.
🏁 Preparation and objectives
Colapinto and Alpine’s focus is clear: adapt quickly to the layout and aim for a solid weekend. They will face a circuit where traction and braking stability are key, making set-up a decisive factor. Franco’s immediate goal will be to qualify well to avoid traffic and, in the race, maintain consistency to take advantage of any opportunities created by Marina Bay’s inevitable safety cars.
🇦🇷 A moment for history
Racing in Singapore means much more than gaining experience: it is about measuring oneself on a stage where only the most complete drivers shine. Franco will have the unconditional support of his fans around the world, who already dream of seeing him shine under the Marina Bay lights.
He is also the only Argentine driver to have competed in this Grand Prix.
