Baku, a land of surprises and Latin celebrations
Following his official F1 debut in Monza, Franco’s second race came at Baku, where he experienced one of the most memorable moments of his career.
🚀 Franco and his best F1 result
In only his second race with Williams, Franco delivered a historic performance: he qualified in Q3, started from eighth on the grid, and finished in the same position, scoring 8 points for the team. Not only was it his first top 10 in the category, it also made him the first Argentine to score in Formula 1 since Carlos Reutemann in 1982 – 42 years had passed!
💪 A milestone with a promising future
The result in Baku was not just a dream come true for Franco and for Argentines, but also a demonstration of character and resilience after a challenging weekend start. From a crash in free practice to finishing with points, he showed he has what it takes to grow in the top category.
Here are the best photos from that weekend!
Now, with more experience, he returns to a circuit that has already seen him shine, where Latin drivers often find unique opportunities.
