Meet Franco’s mega fan who lives the FranClub passion to the fullest

From the Netherlands, the country of this weekend's race, comes a story that melts our hearts ❤️
Kasper, only 8 years old, is already a loyal supporter of Franco Colapinto. A sporty kid, basketball fan, and with his first karting experience just recently, he dreams of watching Franco race in F1 in his own country, at Zandvoort.
At every race, he puts on the colours, follows every lap, and has even shared his art with Franco: once, he sent him a drawing that ended up on Franco’s car itself — absolutely adorable! ✨
🇳🇱 We want everyone to get to know him better, right in time for the Dutch GP
The sweetest part: we spoke to his parents, who told us more about his story:
“Kasper first discovered Franco back in his F3 days when he was driving for Van Amersfoort Racing in 2022. We are Dutch, so we follow the Dutch teams closely. What stood out the most at that point for 5 year old Kasper was Franco’s last name! He has followed Franco ever since.
It means a lot to Kasper to see Franco doing well at every GP, he was very happy the first time Franco made it to Q2 this year! He is very engaged with Franco’s results.
You already mentioned a few great moments, but actually meeting Franco in Zandvoort during his training session was the highlight.
Especially because Franco was incredibly nice to Kasper, and even offered to sign his 43 jersey. Franco even remembered who Kasper was from his drawing he sent a year and a half earlier.
Alongside Kasper, both Angela and I are incredibly passionate about racing. Not only F1, but also the feeder series, endurance, and Porsche cups. We love sharing this passion with Kasper, as his older sisters don’t care about racing at all! We decided at the last minute we are going to Quali Saturday in Zandvoort this year, and he couldn’t be happier.
Kasper has a few dreams at the moment: first he wants Franco to score some points this year, then a podium, and in the future he really wants Franco to become Max Verstappen’s teammate!” 🩵
On his Instagram, he told us how it all began, when he was just 5 years old and saw Franco racing in F3 with Van Amersfoort Racing:
Since then, Kasper has never stopped showing that he is truly part of the Fran Club 43. Drawings, flags, messages and even meeting Franco in person all form part of a story that proves passion knows no borders.
We are incredibly happy to hear how everyone in Fran Club shares the excitement for Franco’s career.
